Laundry room build part 1 of ??

Ok another hair brain ideal from the hubby...why not do the build for the laundry room..I swear him and his hair brain ideals they don't work for me really...
but before I show you how the laundry room build is going let me show you a pic I took of something one of the kids put on the mirror in the bathroom...never thought I'd see that there...

but while making these snow stuff I had to sacrifice Chelsea's egg.. sorry Mr. Egg...

Its over now what??

The Christmas Holiday is over well at least my favorite part is over..being with my family and laughing at all the weird things that I use to do as a little kid...nope won't tell ya though lol...Kids had a good Christmas just wish I had the notice to go over to my sister's ex in laws house though..yeah it sounds weird..but they took my family in and treated us as family...but we won't talk about that...

I just wanted to blog today to say be nice to everyone in your family even though they piss ya off...I have a sis in law that is totally ignoring me even when I have told her that I have some fudge for them..still no answer...

I love my family so much and maybe I don't think before I speak..so I am asking God to help me with it..

Now unto the title of my blog..its over now what?? never once will I ever give up on my brother and my sister in law...but there is a time that you must put them off to the side so your not dwelling in sorrow all the time...I will dwell in the word of God..God will show me how to handle it..just sometimes I wish God will speak up a bit louder...I am getting older and I am hard of hearing...

Smile despite the circumstances and laugh throughout the pain. Life is full of hardships but it is how you deal with them that will, in the end, define you.

remodeling while kids are home

yeah I know I am not my hubby but I like this one...

My husband had a hair brain ideal to do some remodeling while he was home for the Christmas holiday..
the white floor is the old floor the red one is the living room..the brown is the kitchen and hallway floor...

well I helped too..nope I didn't pose for this picture either...
yes that is me pulling up carpet strips...

I pulled out the carpet strip that was between the two nails...

Plus I will show you how it looked after i did my hard labor of work and hubby finished the floor...Trust me when I say let the professionals do the work..my legs were killing me the next day...

dining room and hallway...Hubby also painted the walls...purple on top and yellow on bottom...the hallway and where my jacket is hanging will be done in the yellow...


But I got my room cleaned yesterday...

Your lucky cause nobody really gets to see my room so your lucky today...

this is where my sewing machine table is at..which is my side of the bed...just thought you wanted to know that...

Now Hubby is at Lowe's to get the material to build my laundry room...hope it turns out good and not look like his work shop/outhouse.... I am so mean huh..

Manic Monday

Posting this for yesterday:

Today was Day 1 with the kids by myself..hubby don't get off till Wednesday...Well it didn't start out very good...I was awake to take hubby to work so I can go to Wal-mart and get some stuff that I need for Christmas dinner..plus I also got stocking stuffers...

I came home thinking that maybe I would have some quiet time...nope my son Kevin was awake at the computer...so we talked a bit then the girls started getting up...

then the problem started..
1 simple Christmas picture..it turned into a crying spell with yelling at everyone..
but I did get one..


I then went to Aldi in Gadsden...
I bought 65 items and only spent $51.67 just bring your own bags and a quarter(so you can use the buggies but you get it back) that is how they save on the cost of food..
came home and my youngest Chelsea decided to help put the groceries away...


Had Tacos for dinner...smart hubby put his tacos shells on a paper plate....



It is what it is, just not always what it seems

weekends are crazy

Parents of kids usually know that weekends are the most craziest days of the week mainly cause the kids and hubby are home. Well I always consider Friday as part of the weekend...So this is how our weekend started...

Friday I took the van so I can get the bills paid before the kids got off of school(Christmas Holiday) So that always means I must be ready by 6am...which all those that know me knows how hard that is...usually at 6am I am just getting out of bed..Got home from taking the hubby to work and dealt with fussing kids telling me that they don't got to go to school cause their teachers told them that..Well I being super momma said to them Your going to school....guess who won that battle...ME

After hubby got off of work we all came home and allowed the kids to draw names for Christmas..Can't really tell you who got who or what they got...they are all round me right now... I will after Christmas..anywho we all went to a Chinese place to eat..(some wanted that some didn't) We had to draw to see where we were going..so I will post later what their fortune was...I am hoping I got them all..they like to hold onto them and not turn them over to me...I also have pictures of the family as they all eat...I will try to only post a few pictures way to many to list on here...

Saturday we went and did the shopping for the kids Christmas presents..(still can't list them) then went to Guntersville I took two of them into Dollar Tree and got some stuff for their stockings(they know that I do that) then went to Walmart and got some food to take over to my mom & stepdad's house and fixed dinner and played cards-Groups and Runs is the card game that the hubby taught all of us..groups are 3 or more of a kind like (3) Kings or (5) 8's Runs are 4 or more in a suite like 9,10,Jack,Queen,King of hearts or 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 of spades...its a fun game but loosing sucks..you count your cards if someone goes out and your stuck with your cards still in your hands...Jokers are worth 50 points, Aces are 20 points(I think)Kings through 9's are worth 10 points, and 8 through 2 are worth 5 points...so as you can see your points can really rack up..the less points you have then you win..Well needless to say I lost both games we played..

Sunday we went to church..It was nice to see everyone..and then they mentioned that they were having their Christmas play tonight well I was so hoping to go but I got a really bad headache and decided not to go...Shame on you...You say... well I say.....

T.G.I.FRIDAY

this is a good way to start this blog...cause I am thankful that it is Friday but now I will be stuck with 4 kids for at least 17 days...Yes 17 LONG days...I am hoping this blog will make since as I am watching a movie on the computer its 2012....of course wish I knew what it was saying...oh my guy is in it...not telling ya who...you will just have to guess...I hope I don't cry..I got things to do and I don't want to leave with red eyes...

Well my kids only have to go half a day well my youngest one Chelsea, of course said that she didn't want to go and that her teacher said they don't have to go..well me being a great mommy told her she was going anyway...lol yes nice mom I am huh..I need my Mommy of the Year award..sorry no pictures this morning...Hope everyone has a wonderful blessed day..

Bet your wondering why such a different title..Well glad you asked...I didn't blog yesterday so I thought why not do yesterday and today all together..I might not be my normal happy self as I'm not in a good mood..why you ask..I got kids and a hubby and a dog.. well I will try to put my feelings aside and do a great job on this blog..

See I told you that life with kids and a dog isn't always a walk in a park...well walking in the park when you chubby isn't pleasant either but oh you get the point..

Just remember that when life gets hard and you feel all alone, you mean the world to someone; and that someone calls you mom <3

Well doesn't that all sound so nice...you never know how much you are loved till you hold that little baby in your arms and realize that you are the one that they need to help them grow into someone that can run this world the right way...YOUR WAY!!!! Well lets see nothing major happened yesterday..besides Olivia pawing at me and biting at me all day long till I finally let her outside on her leach.. Then of course laughing and being goofy with my friend Mel it was so much fun that my kids thought I needed professional help when they got home..lucky me they couldn't find the phone book...haha smart me huh...

this is me laying down due to my eyes hurting and you see that Olivia is on her back paws standing up irritating me...this then turned to her biting at my feet..

Nope I am not making this picture any smaller...I love them so much...I am so blessed to have them...I still wonder what made God think it was funny for me to have them as they are all so different and so much fun to be around..

Well today started out good again..which in turn because I tend to look negativity I think okay if today started good what bad thing will happen.. well anywho here is how today has went so far...

I went to bed really early last night as my eyes were feeling a lot of pressure on them..(I have no clue as to why that was happening)...

Had an IEP meeting this morning so there for had to take the van...All kids were up when hubby and I left...got back home and was nearly knocked down from Olivia..Next time I will warn the kids I'm coming home and they can hold onto Olivia..Sat down so Olivia can show me her love for me..

yes now you see why she wasn't a very good girl....
she made a mess for mommy to pick up..

but honestly who could get mad at a face like that...Nah Not Me..

cause I cleaned it up....


So when you think everything will go wrong cause you won't be home to make sure things are done you come home and realize that its all okay...
When your dog makes a mess be happy that it can be swept up and you will be fine...can't say much when its the kids mess... haha

Wow what a way to start the school week off....everyone was ready for school on time...of course with kids you can't start any mornings without someone acting goofy..
here is my example as I walked into my girl's room to get my youngest one up this is what I found:

I didn't blog this weekend so here is what happened this weekend...
On Friday I saw the kids bus going as I was on my way to get the hubby...Hello Kids I will be home soon...


Older kids had to irritate me or maybe they were irritating each other...huh
