New Craft Ideal

If ya know me you know I love trying a new craft. So on youtube I found a video of recycling plastic grocery bags and cutting them into little strips and then connecting them and then crocheting them into what ever you want them to be. Now my only problem is I can't find my crocheting needles but that didn't stop me from starting yesterday. I will show you what I got done so far then I will do a video of how to attach them all together. Its pretty fun I can't wait till I find my needles and start crocheting and making my first recycled bag

Halloween 2011

Now normally I like to dress up for Halloween but I hate going out with the kids cause most times hubby drives and the back doors are left open and the little girls are so much in a hurry to run to the door that I told my husband I can so see someone getting ran over cause of it. But we survived without an ER trip.

Mason's 1st birthday

Well if you look back at my other post you will see Mason with his blue puppy. Well I started cutting the fabric, pinning it, sewing it all in one day. So now I must finish it up today of course when you look at it you will say "its done" but I have to sew up his belly button.

Mason's gift

I have 4 great nieces and nephews and one of my nephew's wife has two kids and one has my nephew's last name but the other one don't then they are expecting a little girl next month so all together I really have 7 great nieces and nephews and well soon to be 8 cause I totally forgot my niece is pregnant again. Ok I have 8 great nieces and nephews & if I have any more I will have to start cutting things off or sewing things up. I can't keep up with all of them but here is their names and who they are kids too..

newly sewing project part 2

Sorry It has taken me awhile to do this post but I didn't have a good weekend and I really didn't think of doing this blog.

newly sewing project part 1

I couldn't find blue fabric so I thought I have another birthday party to go to this Saturday & thought oh look I have red fabric so why not make a red doggie for this little birthday boy that just turned the big 1.



So after I got my red fabric I went past my girls room & saw this sign & thought OMG how cute I must take a picture of it. My daughter Chelsea 8yrs old wrote it & it says Chelsea & Magan room no boys and circled is yes dad. how cute she misspelled Meagan's name wrong this is just priceless picture.



Nothing like kicking it back while cutting fabric so this is how I sat with my leg on the coffee table

newly sewing project

I am so excited about my new sewing project. I found a puppy pal pattern from my Listia sight-- www.lisita.com and this is what I won.

So I am happy to say that I am making my great nephew Mason a puppy..



When Mason was born his mommy gave him a blue puppy so I thought OMG I can make him a puppy




I never like to cut the pattern that they give ya so I like use copy paper and so then I add it into a bag and then I will label the bag.

Now who don't like to find deals? I know I do and when I do I love to let all know about it. So yesterday I went by myself to Winn-Dixie, Aldi, then to Wal-mart are you tired yet just knowing all the places I went to by myself? Cause I am just thinking about it.

Spent $171.38 using my reward card I saved $71.11 Manufacturer coupon saving $7.50 multiply coupon savings $4.50 with a total of savings was $83.11



My Wal-mart deals-4 boxes of hamburger helper for $1.50 per box had a coupon for .75 off any three, Mahatma brown rice was $1.16 coupon was .40 off, Ball Pectin for making jam was $.97 and coupon was $1.00, Pizza yeast was $1.06 coupon was .40 off.

Thanks to my bestie Melinda that recommend me making sandwiches as she knew I was exhausted so I went with that idea and this is my dinner it was a turkey breast sandwich with a side of salad. Yummy



My hubby wanted me to go with him to the store to get meats and I waited for him to get a drink and thought Thank you God for these beautiful colors. This was such a blessing to see.
