pantry/freezer clean out...

A friend of mine has done a pantry clean out so I am going to do my version of the pantry clean out...well at least till next Tuesday when we get our food stamps...yes with 4 kids we need all the help that we can get.. I do have to admit that I did cheat though as on Monday I went and got some frozen veggies cause as you will see we didn't have any veggies...You should always have veggies with your dinner...its good for you...

this is the cabinet that we keep our box food at...its normally all organized and the boxes are neatly put away well the kids like to get up there and move things around....

do you see the kool-aid container...well that is where I keep all of my cake mixes and gram cracker crust boxes...yes I like to be organized...

this is where we keep our can food at....

looks like a lot huh...well its not..the bottom shelf is for my spices..but as you can tell not everyone that helps me to cook puts them back where they are suppose to be...

my freezer in the kitchen...see my veggies...the bag under the ice bucket is white chili(I always make a lot so I can freeze the rest and so when I'm not in the mood to cook and presto I got dinner)

My deep freezer(if you don't got one of these you really need to invest in one)...yeah its a lot of meat...can you also see my bowl its in the middle of the bottom of the freezer it has my dressing from Christmas...See I am smart...

so dinner for tonight...
I am thinking about maybe some steak or pork chops...not sure yet...I really don't like either one..or I think I even have some little smokies...I will post later with what I am going to have...I can't wait till Tuesday when I get to go to Aldi and can stock up on some can foods...

I have learned the secret to any clean out project is before you do your shopping donate some of the food left over to your sister...haha always works for me...

Well I hope you have enjoyed my pantry/freezer clean out...

dinner on Thursday was fish fillets and tilapia fish, texas garlic toast, twice baked potatoes, and broccoli...it was awesome...yummy...
