back on line

Well as you can tell that I am back on line...it stinks to find something else to do during the day when you have no computer...well while the last time I blogged we finished the laundry room but can't show you those pictures as that is what Amanda will be doing...but I can tell you that we did celebrate a birthday of my daughter Meagan who turned 9 on Jan. 3rd..I can remember the first time I found out I was pregnant with her it happened to be on Amanda's 5th birthday that I took the test, and then waited and went to wake Paul up showing him the stick and telling him "look we did it" "im pregnant" I was on cloud nine..then the long wait of 9 months gaining a lot of weight of two fun fill holidays before she was born..Thanksgiving and Christmas...where I gained at least 6 to 8 pounds in that two months....all together gaining a total of 17 pounds...not a lot huh..well she came out weighing 8lbs 15 oz, heavy little thing...and that was my first thing I said when they placed her on my belly...she looked so beautiful, so perfect, so much like her dad...and still does...I love that little girl..Love to Meagan Nicole Gail...wondering where we came up with that name from??? I had went to Amanda's school one day when she was in K...and saw a name on the wall that read Megan,,Im like thats a pretty name...came home looked up different ways to spell it.. and came up with Meagan...Nicole was a name Paul loved ever since I was pregnant with Amanda but her name is Amanda Sue with my middle name...I will explain in a bit....so anywho I gave in to the name Nicole....Gail is to honor a friend of her mawmaw Self...so weird huh...
this is meagan's cake its a house with trees on each corner...

9 years old now....

me at 9 months pregnant with Meagan...

Meagan's hospital picture...

Amanda's name came from both me and Paul agreeing to it...Sue came from me...my name is Anna Sue..my mom named me Anna after my grandma that was going to adopt me when I was a little baby...my dad really never wanted kids well he ended up with 5...when my mom was pregnant with me my parents agreed to put me up for adoption...so over my crib in the nursery said Adoption...it broke my mom's heart and she called her parents and cried and cried...they agreed to come and get me...so they did....I was with them for a month and my mom and dad came and got me...I have always been such a mommy's girl as I guess I have harsh feelings for my dad...My mom named her 1st girl with her middle name...bothof my sisters 1st daughters are named after them...

Chelsea's name came from a friend we had in Virginia that had a daughter named Chelsea and I just loved that name...my first name I wanted to give to her was Breanna...Bre for my mom's name Brenda and anna for my grandma's name but I stuck with Chelsea and it just fits her...and Faith is her middle name...before I found out I was pregnant with her I had a miscarrage and it broke my heart then I had a screwy period and in December of 2002 I had a really bad asthma attach where they gave me two breathing treatments and oxygen and then an xray...well they asked bout my period and I told them it was messed up since the miscarrage...and I refused the pregnancy test so they continued on with the xray...well later that month I went to a Christmas party with Paul and I couldn't get enough of green olives and ranch dressing....I HATE green olives....but on Jan. 3rd Meagan's 2nd birthday I took the pregnancy test that came back postitve...I was scared...but my Faith in God pulled me through...I wrote notes to Chelsea while I was carrying her as I was afraid she wouldn't be ok...she came 1 wk early due to her being 8lbs. 12 ozs...and she was born on the day before my parents birthday...and she is also the last grandchild that they have...they have two great grand kids.....

Kevin's name came from me choosing it...and honestly I have no clue where I got that name at....his middle name is from Paul's middle name...Thomas...and Thomas is Paul's dad's first name and Paul's grandpa's middle name...when I think about Kevin's name I can't help but remember the tv show Wonder Years...the two main characters were Kevin and Paul...cool huh...
